We recognise that the culture, structures, policies and processes, together with personal lifestyle factors, can play an important role in the health and wellbeing of our staff. We also recognise that walking and cycling are the zero emission options when it comes to travel so cycle storage facilities are available at Holyrood. In partnership with our contractor Edenred and Cycle Solutions we have also developed a Cycle2Work scheme. This scheme is an approved salary sacrifice scheme intended to help increase access to more sustainable means of transport to work. Have a look at the cycle to work scheme for more information. We also offer an interest free loan arrangement for colleagues wishing to purchase an annual travel season ticket. 

 

We know that the price of gym memberships can put people off joining them. We have a small onsite gym facility and corporate gym memberships at discount rates.  Contact the gyms directly to get updated prices.  

 

Our Healthy Living Scheme also supports colleagues to participate in physical activities that contribute to their health and well-being. Our scheme is flexible and covers a wide range of physical activities. It operates on a yearly basis by reimbursing you 50% of the cost of taking part in a physical activity or range of physical activities. Have a look at the healthy living scheme for information.
