Supporting you to achieve an effective work-life balance


We’re committed to supporting staff to achieve a healthy work-life balance. We recognise that achieving that sense of balance is a very personal thing; it’s about choice and flexibility. We provide a range of support to create an environment where everyone – whatever their commitment outside of work – has the opportunity to flourish. This could mean, for example, time off to have children, to care for a dependent, to update your skills or gain a qualification, to become involved in your local community, to attend cultural celebrations or to pursue interests and hobbies.


We’re very proud of our working practices and have a range of family friendly policies in place to support staff with caring responsibilities. There are over 175 different working patterns across the organisation which clearly shows the effectiveness of our policies. Have a look at the Work Life Balance Policy for information.
